Under the Willunga Creek Artwork Collection we currently offer the 2005 OuT fOr A dUcK Shiraz.

This wine is our ‘value’ offering and is the latest in a series of wines featuring cartoon labels created by artist Graham Middleton. These label designs are intended to tell a true Australian story, a celebration of our lifestyle. The series include themes such as Golf Day, Winery Tours, Cricket, and the Tour Down Under Cycle Race.

This latest release celebrates the stellar performance of the Australian Test Cricket Team in their triumphant 2006/2007 tour. We have commissioned Graham to produce a new painting to coincide with further special release vintages and have discovered that past releases have become ‘collectables’ by some consumers. Whether for the wine or the label these products are by no means conventional and bring to the table a great talking point for any barbecue or dinner party.

This wine is rich and full favoured, with spicy, peppery Shiraz notes on both the nose and palate. Smooth and silky with long-lasting flavours, it has been made to enjoy in the next five years and represents exceptional value drinking.
